This project focuses on the urgent conservation of monarch butterflies, whose populations have drastically declined due to habitat loss, climate change, and pesticide use. It introduces an innovative approach that combines a user-friendly vending machine dispensing butterfly garden kits and a specially designed app to educate and engage community members in monarch conservation. By making conservation accessible and engaging, this initiative aims to foster a sustainable environment for monarchs and ignite broader ecological awareness and action. Through a blend of technology and community involvement, the project demonstrates how design can significantly contribute to addressing environmental challenges.
